About The Record:

What a Wonderful World (12″ Single), by Hello Louis, is a cheeky Eurodance makeover of Louis Armstrong’s classic, re-energized with pounding house beats, sunny reggae flavors, and late-90s club production. The release contains four distinct versions: the bouncy Reggae Mix, the compact Wonder Mix, the driving Club Version, and an original B-side titled The Wonderful Dream. Crafted by Italian label ZAC Records under the novelty alias Hello Louis, the single daringly samples Armstrong’s legendary voice and layers it over infectious electronic and reggae instrumentation—a bold and polarizing move that became a cult curiosity. It remains a quirky snapshot of the era’s obsession with reinventing vintage standards for the rave generation, bridging jazz heritage with European dance floors. Among fans of 90s Eurodance, the high-energy Club Version and the ironically chill Reggae Mix stand out as the most beloved and frequently revisited takes.
