Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great, a few creases near edges; very light scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); a few very tiny surface abrasions on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)

Pakula said, "There is no better than Marvin at creating a mood and adding to the characterization. His music gives the characters extra resonance, and in Sophie's Choice, his music clothes them with dignity and a sense of life and legend that will always haunt me." The film stars Meryl Streep as Zofia "Sophie" Zawistowska, a Polish immigrant to America with a dark secret from her past who shares a boarding house in Brooklyn with her tempestuous lover Nathan (Kevin Kline in his feature film debut), and young writer Stingo (Peter MacNicol).
