About The Record:

I Saw the Lord, by Dallas Holm, is a heartfelt Contemporary Christian Music album featuring Dallas Holm & Praise, characterized by its polished early 1980s production with notable contributions from session musicians like drummer Larrie Londin, guitarist Hadley Hockensmith, and string arrangements by The Shelly Kurland Strings. The title track I Saw the Lord stands out as a powerful, visionary song inspired by a divine encounter, and it remains one of the artist's enduring works frequently highlighted in his catalog alongside classics like Rise Again. Other notable tracks include uplifting songs such as Worth the Waiting, Peaceful Harbor, I Am So Happy, and I've Never Been Out Of His Care, which showcase Holm's songwriting on themes of faith, joy, and assurance. A unique inclusion is the cover of Bob Dylan's I Believe In You, adding an interesting crossover element to the gospel-focused collection.
