Windows and Walls saw it's first single, The Language of Love, reach No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Although the follow-up, Believe in Me, missed the Top 40, peaking at No. 48, it became Dan Fogelberg's fourth No. 1 song on the Billboard adult contemporary chart.
