These concertos displays vitality and lightheartedness quite probably designed to keep King Ferdinand even more pleased than he might have been otherwise, with only virtuosity and musical maturity with which to contend, although it must be admitted that the original solo instruments called for would still lead themselves to a light concept, in keeping with the social events at which they were heard.
