Vinyl plays with occasional crackles (play-graded). Cover looks okay, light scuffing and a few creases (front/back); split near the top edge and yellowed tape also. Slight discoloration on back cover. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Actual top edge has little wear and bottom edge has split half way. Some corner wear. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

About The Record:

Mean Woman Blues, by Ivory Joe Hunter, spawned a single by the same name. Ivory Joe Hunter was an American rhythm-and-blues singer, songwriter, and pianist. After a series of hits on the US R&B chart starting in the mid-1940s, he became more widely known for his hit recording Since I Met You Baby (1956) (not on this album). He was billed as The Baron of the Boogie, and also known as The Happiest Man Alive. His musical output ranged from R&B to blues, boogie-woogie, and country music, and Hunter made a name in all of those genres. Uniquely, he was honored at both the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Grand Ole Opry.
