About The Record:

Joias Musicais Do Sec. XVIII, by Tomaso Albinoni, is a compilation showcasing the Italian Baroque composer’s instrumental works, emphasizing his mastery of concertos and sonatas from the 18th century. It features a selection of his renowned oboe and string concertos, particularly from his Op. 7 and Op. 9 collections, which highlight his innovative use of the oboe as a solo instrument. The album captures Albinoni’s elegant and expressive style, with performances that bring out the lyrical and technical finesse of his compositions. While no specific hit singles are explicitly identified in available sources for this album, the Adagio in G Minor, often attributed to Albinoni but largely composed by Remo Giazotto, is frequently highlighted as his most famous work and may be included. Other notable tracks likely include movements from his oboe concertos, such as those from Op. 9, No. 2, which are celebrated for their melodic beauty.
