Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Gate-fold cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/inner-gate); light scuffing on back; surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); partially torn near inner cur-out. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Some shelf-wear along top-edge; heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

About The Record:

42nd Street, the soundtrack from the Broadway production of the same name, won the Tony Award for Best Musical and became a long-running hit. The production stars Jerry Orbach, who would later find success in the long-running TV series Law and Order. The show was produced in London in 1984 (winning the Olivier Award for Best Musical) and its 2001 Broadway revival won the Tony for Best Revival. Based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the subsequent 1933 film adaptation, it focuses on the efforts of famed dictatorial Great White Way director Julian Marsh to mount a successful stage production of a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression. The soundtrack of 42nd Street peaked at #120 on the Billboard 200.
