Live at the Apollo, by Daryl Hall & John Oates, recorded live at the Apollo Theater in New York peaked at No. 26 on Billboard U.S. 200. It is subtitled "With David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks", of The Temptations-fame. The album is a mixture of their classics and some then-current songs by Hall & Oates. It featured the single The Way You Do the Things You Do, which reached No. 12 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary charts. In July 1985, Daryl Hall, John Oates, Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin appeared together at Live Aid, a few months before this album was released.
