Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Gate-fold cover looks good; light-scuffing, creasing and surface impressions (front/back); front has a few tiny surface abrasions and inner-gate has light scuffing. Inner-sleeve is original (photo/lyrics); one seam partially split. Spine is mostly readable with wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and a few divots. This album was released with different versions of photo on inner sleeve; this one depicts Carly seated. (Notch in bottom-right.)

About The Record:

Boys in the Trees includes You Belong to Me, which became Carly Simon's fifth top ten single. Her remake of The Everly Brothers' hit Devoted to You, as a duet with then-husband James Taylor, was also a top 40 hit. The photo, featured on the front cover of the album, was expertly airbrushed to paint a Danski- top on what was originally a topless photo of Carly. The album won a Grammy for Best Album Package and was also nominated for Best Pop Female Vocalist.
