About The Record:
Thoughts of Movin’ On, by Lighthouse, reached No. 11 on the Canadian charts, No. 157 on the US Billboard Top 200, and eventually achieved platinum status in Canada, marking a peak in the band's commercial success alongside their three consecutive Juno Awards for Best Canadian Group from 1972 to 1974. Historically significant for contributing to Lighthouse's innovative sound that included collaborations with symphony orchestras and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, it followed their breakthrough album One Fine Morning released earlier that year. Notable hit singles include "Take It Slow (Out In The Country)," which peaked at No. 12 in Canada and earned gold certification, "I Just Wanna Be Your Friend" at No. 54, and "I'd Be So Happy" at No. 32, with the latter covered by Three Dog Night on their 1974 album Hard Labor.
