The single contains two B-sides: \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eNew Agenda\u003c\/span\u003e and the then-unreleased \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003e70's Love Groove.\u003c\/span\u003e The single peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 9 on the Hot R\u0026amp;B\/Hip-Hop Songs, and was moderately successful internationally. Based on samples from Diana Ross \u0026amp; the Supremes' 1968 song \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLove Child\u003c\/span\u003e and Kool \u0026amp; the Gang's 1973 song \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eJungle Boogie,\u003c\/span\u003e the song is about Jackson being told by her girls that a guy is watching and wanting her. Jackson proclaims if the guy wants to be with her, he has to work for it. The accompanying music video was directed by Keir McFarlane and filmed at the Palm Desert in August 1994. Loosely based on Russ Meyer's 1965 film,\u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003e Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!,\u003c\/span\u003e it centers around Jackson as a female gang leader with the singer and her friends encountering two men. A black-and-white version of the video was first released to music channels, while a colorized version was released one month later.
