About The Record:

Another Time, Another Place, by Engelbert Humperdinck, showcases the singer's signature smooth baritone on a collection of lushly arranged ballads that blend covers of contemporary hits like Help Me Make It Through the Night with original material exploring themes of love, longing, and reflection. The title track stands out as a fan-favorite and a poignant example of his romantic crooner style, written by Mike Leander and Eddie Seago after an initial unsuccessful pitch. Historically, the album captures Humperdinck's continued success in the early 1970s adult contemporary scene amid evolving pop trends, with sensitive interpretations aided by beguiling orchestral arrangements. Popular tracks include covers such as Morning and Talk It Over in the Morning that highlight his emotive delivery. The title track became a hit single reaching No. 13 in the UK and No. 43 on the US Billboard Hot 100 with No. 5 on the Easy Listening chart while the album itself peaked at No. 48 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 25 on the US Billboard 200.
