Bill Fredericks joined the Drifters in the final months of 1966 -- the other Drifters at that time were Johnny Moore, Charlie Thomas and Rick Sheppard. There Fredericks sang lead for The Drifters on their No. 7 chart hit \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLike Sister and Brother\u003c\/span\u003e in 1973, but left the group in 1974 for a solo career.
