Osmond's version reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. Osmond became the first female country singer to have a No. 1 hit with her debut single since Connie Smith with \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eOnce a Day\u003c\/span\u003e in 1964.
