Two of the \"new\" songs were co-written by John - \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eNice and Slow\u003c\/span\u003e was co-written with Thom Bell and longtime writing partner Bernie Taupin, and \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eShine on Through\u003c\/span\u003e with lyricist Gary Osborne.
