About The Record:

16 Polish Easter Hymns by Lutnia Choir is a heartfelt collection of traditional Polish sacred choral works celebrating the Resurrection, performed with rich, authentic harmonies that preserve the deep-rooted Catholic liturgical traditions of Poland. The album features timeless hymns such as Wesoły Nam Dziś Dzień Nastał and Pod Czystem Niebem W Jeruzalem, which remain enduring favorites among listeners for their uplifting messages of joy and victory over death, drawing from centuries-old repertoire that includes medieval and early modern Polish Easter melodies. Through the choir's culturally significant interpretations—often tied to Polish-American parish communities—the recording serves as a valuable living document of diaspora heritage, keeping these sacred songs vibrant in modern times. While cherished within circles devoted to Polish religious music, the album itself produced no hit singles or chart positions.
