HYPE-STICKER attached to inner-sleeve. Poster and Iron-on T-shirt decal included. Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (artwork/credits); one seam partially split, one developing split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier along bottom-edge and corners. Developing splits near centers of both edges. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)

Chicago VIII, by rock band Chicago, followed the experimental jazz/pop stylings of Chicago VII. Here the band returned to a more streamlined sound. Preceded by Robert Lamm's nostalgic Harry Truman (no. 13) as lead single, Chicago VIII easily reached no. 1 in the US. Inside the original LP package was an iron-on t-shirt decal of the album cover and a poster of the band in a station wagon being pulled over by a policeman.
