It spent four weeks at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Originally the lead single was to have been \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eThe Impossible Dream\u003c\/span\u003e as featured in the climax to the TV spectacular TCB. However, it was decided to release \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eI'm Gonna Make You Love Me\u003c\/span\u003e as a single instead even though it was not featured on TCB. This became a No. 2 hit on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the R\u0026amp;B charts, and the follow-up, \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eI'll Try Something New\u003c\/span\u003e, was a Top 30 hit.
