After being introduced to an obscure song by producer and credited song co-author Henry Onorati, titled \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eCarol of the Drum\u003c\/span\u003e (originally composed by Katherine Kennicott Davis in 1941 and arranged to present form by Jack Halloran), Simeone changed the title to \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eThe Little Drummer Boy\u003c\/span\u003e and recorded it under that title for his album \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eSing We Now of Christmas.\u003c\/span\u003e He received joint authorship-and-composition credit for the album, although he did not actually write or compose the song.
