About The Record:
Plays a Salute to Herb Alpert, by Peter Nero, is a collection of Alpert's songs played by Peter Nero. The best description of this album is by Mr. Alpert himself: "One of the highest forms of flattery in the music world is when a truly great musician like Peter Nero thinks enough of your work that he will take the time to record some of it. I feel deeply honored that Peter has chosen many of the songs that I have been associated with to feature in this album. Frankly, I would like to salute Peter Nero for his interpretations of these compositions."
