The title of the album comes from its signature track, written by Bob Seger and originating from his album, \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eStranger in Town\u003c\/span\u003e. By comparison with Rogers' version, Seger's only reached No. 13 on the Hot 100, making Rogers' version better-known, five years after it was written. Lionel Richie, who by now had been contributing a large number of songs to Rogers, submitted the track \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eHow Long\u003c\/span\u003e to this album.
