Because the UK version of his 1958 LP \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eGood Night, Dear Lord\u003c\/span\u003e was re-titled \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eHeavenly,\u003c\/span\u003e Fontana Records issued this album there under a different title, \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eRide on a Rainbow,\u003c\/span\u003e which got as high as No. 10 on the UK album chart in February 1960. The US version of \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eHeavenly\u003c\/span\u003e received Platinum certification for one million in sales. This was the first Mathis LP to have a single released in the US. His cover of \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eMisty\u003c\/span\u003e peaked at No. 12. The song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002.
