About The Record:
Reflections features Charlie Mariano on soprano and alto sax. The album was meant to bring American listeners some of the best jazz from Finland. The ensemble is made up of Eero Koivoistoinen on tenor sax, Jukka Tolonen on electric quitar, and Olli Ahvenlahti on electric piano. It includes two standards by Miles Davis and John Coltrane along with six originals giving the Finnish Jazzmen a chance to show their wares with Mariano.
