He shelved the project in early 1991 and came back to it in September of the same year. Intending to record one more song for the album, he ended up with ten new songs, which became \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLucky Town\u003c\/span\u003e. He decided to release both albums at the same time. \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLucky Town\u003c\/span\u003e has a more stripped down, folksy sound and is more personal in terms of its song lyrics. \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eHuman Touch\u003c\/span\u003e consisted of mostly generic love songs, while \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLucky Town\u003c\/span\u003e focuses on more specific events in Springsteen's life. The opening track \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eBetter Days\u003c\/span\u003e expresses his desire to start over after some rough patches in his life. \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLiving Proof\u003c\/span\u003e is about the birth of his first son and \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic ;\"\u003eLocal Hero\u003c\/span\u003e is about a time that he saw a picture of himself in a store window. When he went to buy it, the clerk told him it was a picture of a \"local hero.\" The album peaked at #3 on Billboard's Albums chart.
