About The Record:
Originally this four track album was issued on Liberace's AVI Records in the late '70s. The classic dance single My Claim to Fame, by James Wells, is a 16-minute-long track that has playful breaks that spotlights plucking guitars, tight background vocals, and Fiachra Trench's marvelous orchestrated arrangements. The song details the redemptive power of love. The album was produced in Chicago by U.K. dance producer Ian Levine. My Claim to Fame wasn't a pop chart buster at the time of its original release but has since become a perennial dance favorite.
