About The Record:
Heartbreaker, by Dionne Warwick, is a studio album largely written and produced by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees along with his collaborators, applying successful production techniques similar to those used on Barbra Streisand's Guilty album. A unique fact is that Warwick was initially reluctant to record the title track Heartbreaker, but it became one of her signature songs and biggest career hits, with the Bee Gees providing backing vocals. The album features fan-favorites such as All the Love in the World, Take the Short Way Home, and Yours, blending smooth soul and adult contemporary styles. It proved historically significant as Warwick's highest-charting album internationally, selling an estimated three million copies worldwide. The hit singles include the title track Heartbreaker, which reached No. 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100, No. 1 on the US Adult Contemporary chart, and No. 2 in the UK, while All the Love in the World also achieved top-ten status on the UK Singles Chart.
