About The Record:

Crossing Devil's Bridge, by Hickory Wind, is a bluegrass and folk album celebrated for its innovative blend of traditional mountain music with modern influences, featuring standout use of the hammered dulcimer. The album, praised for its genre experimentation and high-quality songwriting, earned a 4.5/5 rating from reviewers for its refreshing sound, though it lacked a major radio hit, limiting its commercial success. Historically significant as a rare 1969 psychedelic-folk gem, its limited pressing made it a collector's item. Tracks like Valentine Lynn, Goin' Back, and Otto Wood are notable. The album's bold jacket design and scarcity have cemented its cult status among psych-folk fans worldwide.
